A bright start for The Sunnier Side Up Campaign

330 VIP celebrities and guests attended Hugos Lounge (Kings Cross) to celebrate the launch of Sunnier Side Up.

Jay Richards, Writer / Producer and Director of this innovative video campaign to stop youth suicide, spoke about his own experiences and the need to educate and create awareness among society.

Guests were treated to a special performance by Fatai V (from The Voice, S1) who sung a heart felt rendition of ‘Who You Are’ by Jessie J.

Whilst sipping on Grand Sud, Tsingtao Beer, Bocca Lupo and Santa Vittoria, guests also enjoyed limited edition, yellow themed macarons, courtesy of Adriano Zumbo.

Among the many celebrity ambassadors attending and supporting the cause last night was John Steffensen, Nova 96.9’s Wippa, Massimo Mele, Lynne McGranger, Sophie Crenigan, Casey Burgess and MC for the night, Mike Goldman.

Not Going Home’s Ruby Jackeno designed special #StopYouthSuicide T-shirts for the cause which were a crowd favourite.
There were also prize balloons and silent auction items up for grabs, as well as hostesses with iPads where guests could pledge their support.
With all proceeds raised contributing to the production of the feature film, it was great to see so much support for this life changing campaign.
