Free golf at Hyatt Coolum

Hyatt Regency Coolum is offering guests free access to its famous Australian PGA Championship golf course over two weeks this summer.

The deal comes on the heels of their holidays offer of free family fun passes and meals for kids.

As greenkeepers mount their annual course renovation from 30 January to 12 February 2012, golfers staying at the resort can play as many rounds as they like without paying green fees.  Then, as the course recovers from 13 to 19 February 2012, guests can take advantage of a 25 per cent discount on green fees, paying just AU$82.50* per person for 18 holes.

At times, some holes may be closed or restricted, but players will still be able to hone their skills on Australia’s best-rated resort golf course and enjoy a game in the magnificent surrounds of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Luxury accommodation is available from AU$255 per couple per night in a King Room or from AU$400 for four people per night in a two-bedroom Woodland Villa.

Created by renowned course designer Robert Trent Jones Jr, the par-72 course at Hyatt Regency Coolum offers 6,137 metres of challenging

fairways set between Mount Coolum and the sandy shores of the South Pacific.

The course is supported by Australia’s leading golf education centre, offering under-cover tuition and the very latest technology in biomechanical analysis to help refine swing and technique.
