Unlocking its doors on May 6 2014, the Shangri-La Hotel, at The Shard, London is already taking reservations and bookings for rooms, events and the hotel’s signature restaurant and lounge, Ting.
The released room rates range from £450 per room per night, including VAT.
The hotel boasts various food and beverage areas, including the patisserie and artisan deli, Lang that showcases a selection of Shangri-La signature cakes, savouries and seasonal hampers and Ting on Level 35 which offers a modern European menu with an Asian twist, using the finest local market produce.
Ting also contains a lounge that serves authentic Asian specialities and two unique afternoon teas.
Opening in July is London’s highest champagne and cocktail bar, Gŏng on Level 52 of the hotel as well as a 24-hour gym and London’s highest infinity pool.
Containing spectacular views from 125 metres above the city, the hotel’s event spaces further include Ren, the largest of the venues accommodating up to 140 guests, Yi and Li that hold 10 and 35 guests respectively and the entire level 34, which can be requested for celebrations with a standing reception of up to 200 guests.
