Flying from Sydney Airport just gained yet another perk.
While no one was really complaining about the lack of food options available, lovers of a good refreshing beer during their travel time can rejoice with the opening of a Coopers Alehouse at Sydney Airport’s T2 Domestic Terminal.
Coopers, Australia’s family-owned brewery, in conjunction with Emirates Leisure Retail Australia, set up shop on 20 August.
The Coopers Alehouse offers travelers a selection of food and beverages including a wide selection of Coopers’ famous brews on tap, as well as bottled local and imported beers, wines and pre-mixed beverages.
The menu will feature breakfast, lunch and dinner classics such as deli sandwiches, gourmet pizzas and entrée-sized light bites.
“It’s a natural fit for Australia’s busiest terminal to feature an iconic Australian brewery. Offering great choices, convenience and providing a pleasurable travel experience to customers is at the heart of our retail strategy. Coopers Alehouse will provide another sensational dining choice to travelers, further cementing our commitment to the expansion and revitalization of T2,” Sydney Airport General Manager Retail, Andrew Gardiner, said.
Executive Chairman of Coopers, Glenn Cooper, said the company was excited to be offering its iconic brand to millions of Australia’s travellers.
“The first Coopers Alehouse in Adelaide has been operating successfully since it opened, and we saw this as a fantastic opportunity to put the Coopers name in front of vast numbers of travelers from all over the country,” he said.
Coopers Alehouse at T2, Sydney Airport will be open daily from 5am to 10:30pm.
