Nothing says English quaintness like the River Cottage Spring Food Fair, which takes place from 23 to 24 May this year.
This spring River Cottage will be a hub of activity with market stalls, arts and crafts and wool and wicker workshops, as well as outdoor activities to celebrate the rich countryside landscape.
Featuring a line-up of distinguished guests – including English chefs Mark Hix and Oliver Gladwin and River Cottage’s Gill Meller and John Wright – the fair will also have a range of masterclasses on cheese, chocolate and all the good things in life. Take away tips from expert guests and indulge in the freshest produce and artisanal delights from local producers.
And if the charms of the countryside aren’t enough, the Saturday night post-Food Fair Gig with Mad Dog Mcrea will inject an extra dose of fun, combining folk pop, bluegrass, jazz and rock music for the finale.
